Nyaniso Dzedze was born in Gauteng, Johannesburg. During his high school years, he struggled to find his purpose until a teachers advice led him to join the Drama club. Falling in love with the Arts, Nyaniso discovered his flair. In his pursuit of perfecting his acting skills, he enrolled for a BADA Degree at Wits School of Arts from to , specializing in acting and physical theatre. Following this, he completed a one-year internship at the Forgotten Angle Theatre Collaboration (FACT) and in , he trained with Gregory Maqoma at Vuyani Dance Theatre.
Nyanisos career began on the stage, where he honed his skills in theatre before making his television debut in His extensive theatre credits include performances in productions such as Uhami Aji (directed by Thabo Rapoo and Nthati Moshesh), Wounded Bull (directed by Thato Cele), Notes to Beverley (directed by Khutjo Bakunzi), and Thirst (directed by James Ngcobo).
In the realm of dance theatre productions, he has appeared in Unknown Equations, Reach Our Soul (directed by Yann Lheureux), Closer Apart (directed by Mlindelwa Mahlangu), and Façade (directed by Baily Snyman).
Nyaniso also extended his talents to the silver screen, with notable appearances in films such as Ukhamba (directed by Magalela Mtshali), Hear Me Move (directed by Scotness Smith), and the short film Trapped By My Wife, directed by Sanelisiwe Faba.
His versatility in the entertainment industry is further demonstrated through his involvement in television commercials, including his roles as The Officeless Guy in a Microsoft Office campaign and as the Chef in an advertisement for McDonalds Grand chicken burgers.
Nyanisos journey in television truly began in when he became one of the original starring cast members of the telenovela Ashes to Ashes, marking his first credited television role. He gained recognition for his role as Tsietsi Namane on the show, making his South African television debut.
He was also celebrated for his lead role as Muzi in Hear Me Move, which is recognized as South Africas first dance movie. Nyanisos talent and dedication to his craft earned him a nomination for Most Promising Actor at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

In , he joined the cast of ’s medical drama Durban Gen. He portrayed the character of Dr Sipho Dhlomo.
His character Dr Dhlomo was abusive towards his wife Sne (played by former Uzalo actress Nombulello Mhlongo). Speaking about his character before his exit, Nyaniso revealed that playing the character was his real-life experience as his father abused his mother growing up.
